Harrisonville at Webb City on Friday night.

For hville to beat Webb for the first time completely agree a fast start is key. Can't have turnovers. Use every offensive weapon they have and play aggressive on offense. I know it's cliche' but play to win the game don't play not to lose it. On defense, Hville has to match Webb's physicality. Not just for a half but the entire game. I do expect this to be a good football game.

Do not sleep on Westminster. This is their 3rd year in row in quarterfinals. It they advance into the Semi Finals, they will host. They still remember the 36 to 6 loss to Webb City two years ago they would love another chance to play with them. They left that day impressed with Webb City but not overwhelmed. If you remember, they had a chance to take the lead early in the 2nd quarter and they threw an interception and then a questionable interference call that save the next Webb City drive. If they score there, then they have a lead and maybe some doubt goes into the Cardinals. Now I say all this knowing that Webb City did dominate the line for play from the 2nd quarter on. Westminster was missing 2 starting O-line because of a cheap shot by a Ladue player. This Westminster teams' Offense and Defensive lines are much better than the ones who lost to Webb City in 2013. This team reminds of the 2011 MICDS team that had Michael Scherer and played Webb City tough in the finals, they can run and pass the ball well. They have to get there first, but hopefully they do.

With Lamar and carthage both playing on Saturday you will have some of there fans coming to watch plus all the area people (Cj fans) coming to cheer against us

This literally made me laugh out loud. East is least, West is best.

Reactions: O line wins games
Only CJ would probably root against us but Lamar and Ctown won't. Wish at least one of those was closer to go watch tomorrow.

Was that the team where the final score was 49-56 or something absurd like that? If I recall it seemed like WC was able to get just one defensive stop late in the game and that ended up being the difference.

56-42 The QB for MICDS had just about as good of a passing performance as you would ever see. Almost every throw was on the money, often under pressure.

On the home side you should easily get a seat on the home side I would think. Probably not close to mid-field because those crazies still show up at noon I think! On the visitor side there is usually ample seating unless it's Carthage or CJ.
West Plains pretty well filled the visitors stands up last week. It was cold so only about 3,500 were on the home side.

I would not count out Har Ber as physically matching the cards. They have gone undefeated since narrowly losing to Webb, and mostly by huge margins. I admittedly don't know anything about Ark football but from what I have heard, the teams Har-Ber plays in the regular season are pretty stout so I'm inclined to think Har Ber is the best team WC has played or will play this season, even if they don't make it all the way.
Sorry I meant the only team Harrisonville will face that will match them in the trenches.................BTW I bet Har Ber wins Arkansas 7A.

Anything is possible for Harrisonville. Kearney had their number for a while, too, until they wen to Kearney (2010) and won in a slug fest, 14-10. I'll get a front row seat on this one as I'll be taking field-level pictures. Ready to put the new lens to the test.
Having that man-beast #12 Travis Britz didn't hurt, either.................the triple Maryland-stack TD was (painful as it was for a K fan at that moment) really fun to watch!

And that MICDS game came right on the heels of the Savannah semi-final that Webb barely pulled out when Coach Rod went for the win on 4th down with seconds left rather than kick the tying FG. But it was Phoenix Johnson with Jamison Cady leading the way. Can't blame him. What a crazy 2 game stretch that was.
