Frankly beating a 7-6 (3-5) team wasn't that surprising.
Lack of discipline in a program is something every coach should call out regardless of bias.

I wouldn't be surprised if Byrd gets suspended for part of all of the next game. If he doesn't it will be a scandal worse than Hillary's Secret Server. If he does suspend them Veer will claim it is because of all the pressure on mosports for action to be taken.

Tennessee may and very well could turn out to be a 7-6 team...but..most publications picked them to finish 2nd in the SEC East ahead of Missouri. They were ranked and they had a 17-0 lead in front of 100,000+ fans. The great SEC oracle Finebaum himself said it was the most anticipated home game in Tennessee in a decade.
OU did not beat Ohio St or Alabama (again) but it was a great comeback and a good win. OU will take a few losses so you can gloat at that time but for today I recommend you pour yourself a cold one, put on your "Your Team Sucks" t-shirt or maybe the commemorative MU win over Vandy t-shirt and have a good cry. You'll feel better.
Say what you want about Stoops and Oklahoma... Facts are OU would not only be fine in the SEC they would compete for the title in most years...

I can't relate to you either 21. Most people I associate with don't have their greatest life accomplishment at 12. They are still doing great things that actually have an impact.

But I probably don't have an impact on human life in STL or anything. I mean I'm only a safety guy at a specialty chemical facility within miles of that dump you call a baseball field. What would I know about making an impact in someone's life?

For the most part (not always), people aren't trying to tear town Mizzou as much as they trying to tear down the flawed and hypocritical logic of bias-blind Mizzoui fans
I can, pick me pick me. Im from Kansas. In 1984 putting in a basketball court and track (polyurethane) I met Ron Kellog and Danny Manning. One of my bosses went to school there, dads company. We went to a game against Iowa State and I was hooked. Ive been to 50 60 JAYHAWK Basketball games. On here since your a BBall fan of a school automatically you have to be a fan of every sport that school has. Ive been to ONE Football game. I know many area kids who have went to MU from wrestling to Baseball like my nephew GO HOPS,,,to Football. Why would I hate MU? What I hate is every post a few of the morons get on they have to say something about KU. It could be about eating at golden corral and it would go like this:

Veer "Its good sweetheart hows yours?"
Cowherd " Its good but tough enough a KU player couldnt chew it, HAHAHAA"

Why wouldnt I enjoy them guys crying a little? About 70% of Veers posts start out kicking an old foe that they have no ties to anymore even if its a team that has throttled them through history like OU Nebraska Texas. What the heck does an MU fan have any right talking smack about the University of Texas for thats hilarious but yet annoying. So we dont want MU to be bad or lose we want their couple mouthy mosport fans to.
Its sad to say but ive always liked mizzou but i kinda root for them to fall on their faces due to their superfans on here. If it wasnt for this website i would root for them ; however i just cant root for them because the rediculious people on here. I get having team pride; even team huberious; but a few of these guys are totally nuts
This might surprise some, but I don't like to dwell in the past; I'll tell you this example, though: Anytime DGB would get busted for weed (even felony amounts), and EVEN AFTER DGB got busted for forcible entry and assaulted a woman (even though the woman was convinced not to press charges), there were people on these boards that defended DGB, and defended DGB, and defended DGB... right up until DGB was kicked off the team (at which point they THEN said that Mizzou was the model of a stand up program for not putting up with such non-sense...)
the list goes on; the arguments that the Mizzou superfans on these boards use to measure other programs most definitely can not be used to measure Mizzou themselves (the definition of hypocrisy).

Actually I think most Mizzou fans just want the same criteria used to judge all programs. Like for instance Mizzou gets bashed for giving DGB a 2nd and 3rd chance (rightly so IMO) but OU gets a pass from the non-Mizzou fans for trying to get him on the field there? Wut?
