Actually I think most Mizzou fans just want the same criteria used to judge all programs. Like for instance Mizzou gets bashed for giving DGB a 2nd and 3rd chance (rightly so IMO) but OU gets a pass from the non-Mizzou fans for trying to get him on the field there? Wut?

If you look, every poster on here is a 'superfan' to a degree. Look at the two feisty guppies and how they will defend their programs to the mat. Very hypocritical.

The one that defended him is one of the couple that I have been referring to. As far as defending to the mat. If you remember correctly, I said from the day that they took DGB that I didnt think they should have taken him, but that I would cheer for him to have success on the field.

I can, pick me pick me. Im from Kansas. In 1984 putting in a basketball court and track (polyurethane) I met Ron Kellog and Danny Manning. One of my bosses went to school there, dads company. We went to a game against Iowa State and I was hooked. Ive been to 50 60 JAYHAWK Basketball games. On here since your a BBall fan of a school automatically you have to be a fan of every sport that school has. Ive been to ONE Football game. I know many area kids who have went to MU from wrestling to Baseball like my nephew GO HOPS,,,to Football. Why would I hate MU? What I hate is every post a few of the morons get on they have to say something about KU. It could be about eating at golden corral and it would go like this:
Cowherd "Hey Veer lover hows your steak?
Veer "Its good sweetheart hows yours?"
Cowherd " Its good but tough enough a KU player couldnt chew it, HAHAHAA"
Veer "Man thats funny"

Why wouldnt I enjoy them guys crying a little? About 70% of Veers posts start out kicking an old foe that they have no ties to anymore even if its a team that has throttled them through history like OU Nebraska Texas. What the heck does an MU fan have any right talking smack about the University of Texas for thats hilarious but yet annoying. So we dont want MU to be bad or lose we want their couple mouthy mosport fans to.

I have been a life long MU fan and KU hater. I loved watching MU/KU play each other, didn't matter what sport. I enjoyed a heated/emotional/historic rivalry that has it roots all the way back to the civil war. The only thing I hated when MU went to the SEC was losing this rivalry. Now I do not actively cheer against KU, I just don't cheer FOR KU. I do enjoy seeing them lose to teams like South Dakota State, but I do bash them end on end.

True superfans Jake, will root for teams in other states they never attended and tear down Mizzou to prove their toughness.

What is your team Miyagi?

Fresno State and Arkansas (been that way since my junior year in high school when a teammate of mine was recruited by both schools); before that it was Tom Osborne's Huskers. In the NFL, I've been a Detroit Lions fan for as long as I've been watching football, which just so happens to be 1988 (the year Barry Sanders had the greatest individual college football season ever). I also often root for the Baltimore Ravens and the Georgia Bulldogs (my son's favorite teams; he also likes Mixhigan State).

Since moving from California, I hardly ever get to see Fresno State on TV anymore, so I present more as an Arkansas fan (and I am fully aware of the fact that their superfans are just as bad if not worse than Mizzoui's; there just aren't as many of them on these boards).

I root for a number of different teams. But mouthing the home state school's accomplishments because of a few fans seems absurd to me. It reminds me of the high school kids I used to have in class who would root against the Cardinals so they could get attention from their classmates.

I hate FSU because I root for the Gators.
I root for Michigan because I hate OSU.
As a kid I loved OU so I hated Nebraska.
But to root against Mizzou is bogus.
