If anyone thinks the NFL gives a damn about fairness they obviously don't pay attention. Should he be playing?? Hell no he is a POS who damn near killed people from stupidity and left the scene. However our world now has no moral code so play on

The only thing the NFL cares about is maximizing revenue for stakeholders. That is the only standard by which anything is judged.

Street racing is one thing. But leaving the scene of the accident. That should bother you no matter your team affiliation. Sit his ass for a few games, at least.

He will likely serve a suspension in 2025. Length probably depends on what happens in court.

His preliminary hearing is not scheduled until the middle of December. A simple postponement could put it after the Super Bowl. (if necessary) The NFL won't touch it until charges have been filed.
Yea, we all saw the video of him leaving the scene, let’s hold off on passing judgment on the poor kid though.

The NFL is not going to suspend until the legal proceedings are over. I believe his trial is set for next June. I can see a suspension to start the 2025 season.

exactly. once the legal process is over he will face some form of punishment from the league. The precedent has been set with other players....league decisions are made after the legal process is over.

HA! I dont say this often but THE MoSports CLOWN @HomeyR is correct! Apparently Toots is NOT a fan of the legal process
Why thank you Sheldon..! Most all of the above being "somewhat correct," the kid will eventually pay thru the nose via the lawsuits that have already been filed by those who were victimized in the accident. He had better be able to extend his career beyond his rookie contract to even begin to recover the $$$ that he will lose because of his part in the accident.

What is happening!? THE MoSports CLOWN @HomeyR continues to be correct! Rice is absolutely going to be paying on this for many years to come. Not only legal fees but the settlements to come!

Man, I need a drink!

Absolutely, I was just being sarcastic cause I agree that he should definitely be suspended. No excuse for any of the stuff he did.
