Dang I sure wish OU would eventually get some NFL talent, someday. Someone needs to tell all those former Sooners getting NFL paychecks that they still arent good enough. (there are a lot of them it might take a while) Again, no one has said that OU could come in and dominate the way they did the Big XII. But its laughable to think that the Sooners wont compete.

They gonna get beat up. You're not blocking a hay baler from mancrappin anymore. You're blocking bama, auburn , a&m, uga, etc.

The big 12 didn't have a first round pick last year iirc.

Meanwhile in SEC country:

  • 2021: 12
  • 2020: 15 (an NFL record)
  • 2019: 9
  • 2018: 10
  • 2017: 12
  • 2016: 8
Total players in NFL by conference:

SEC335
Big Ten266
ACC208
Pac-12159
Big 12138
American84
C-USA53
Mountain West52
Independent52
MAC44
Sun Belt23

Keep thinking all is well. Riley knows what's coming so he got the heck out.

Sooners know what they are in for. No overly grand illusions. If there are any surprises it will be on the SEC side, thinking that OU is a pushover or bottom tier team.... This is a much different program that is coming from the Big XII than the last time the league expanded.

ohhh ok. You see that chart up there? That's the reason the big12 never won a cfb playoff game. Only P5 conference in that category.

You have less NFL talent than the pac 12. SEC has almost 200 more players in the NFL than the big 12.

Wanna bet OU doesn't make the SEC title game within their first two years in the league like Mizzou did?

Needless to say, I was shocked when they resigned Remmers. Dude is terrible.

"...no 1st round picks", yet here we are (by the way I am a Mizzou/SEC fan.) watching Creed Oklahoma Humphrey is easily be the best Offensive lineman in that draft, the best Center in the NFL, one of the top graded lineman in the NFL. As Sooner guy said, they will not come in a dominate but aside from Bama who has?

Creed is a player! He'd probably start at most SEC schools.

No matter how this move goes.. I sure hope OU fans never try to live off the success of others in the league... Speaking of betting, I am willing to wager the Sooners have an SEC football championship before MIZZOU does. (even with the massive head start in the league your boys have had)

So would have Mark Andrews, Baker, Trent Williams, I could go on.. I know you like looking at NFL players... Ohio State is the only school that has more pro-bowlers on this years teams than former Sooners.

So you're not going to bet me that the vaunted and legendary OU can match lowly Mizzou's entrance into the SEC?
Weaksauce.

if OU had the same road as MIZZOU, absolutely. That is not going to happen. You know there is no comparison between the programs
