Pre district playoffs Fort was my C5 team to watch but NEVER EVER considered this possible. Has to be THE upset of the playoffs so far............
Was at the game... and froze my ass off. Fort dominated the LOS on D and pretty well shut down the Staley run game. I saw the game stats on PrepsKC and they are telling. Staley's leading rusher Jaden Moss: 8 carries for 10 yards. The Staley QB rushed for 87 yds. on a little inside counter play that Fort did not adjust to but it was for naught. The most telling statistic for Staley was their passing performance: 2/15 for 15 yds. with 3 Ints. They could not throw the FB all season.
My hats off to the Fort they came out and competed, played their ass off and were rewarded for their effort. Good luck next week.

That game is at Fort. Fingers crossed it is Friday night. I will be there should that happen otherwise definitely got to see Lamar at Lathrop Saturday.
Count me in... unless you want to eat at White Castle.
I thought Fort could keep it closer than a lot of people expected but I didn't expect anything like that.
Fort has had some terrible injury luck this season and they have had some tough losses but they have been in every game.
I think this was a good strength vs strength match-up for Fort Osage. Fort has a tough experienced defense that is finally healthy. They played their butts off today and the offense avoided mistakes and made enough play.
Very happy for Coach Bult and the boys.
IMO Von Young of Fort might be one of the most underrated kids in the state. Young man is a football player.
#44 Brayden McBee was a man today on the Dline. He is listed in the program that I saw as being a sophomore. If so, he has one heck of a future.
This is why you never ever gamble on sports. No way anyone but FO COACHES, Fans, and players believed this could happen. The Fort O Pop Warner just kicked the North Suburban Leages arse.

I am crushed a bit today that Staley lost (have family ties to there just like here in KTown) BUT absolutely THRILLED for Fort!!!!! I should have known (don't ya just love how clear hindsight is LOL) not to count the Indians out! This is likely a program turning win for third year HC Bult. Next week you will play one of those shootout teams who tends not to be comfortable playing someone with a good D thus I love Fort's title game chances!
