For you, maybe. Your TV have a volume control?Nothing about being woke, but that constant noise almost makes the game unwatchable.

To each their own my man . I watched the game and could give a crap less about either team and loved every minute of it . High school football is my favorite , then college ( for basically the same reasons but NIL is kinda changing the dynamics of that ) then NFL . I can tell you I can be flipping threw channels on a Tuesday and see ball state playing Youngstown State and I'll stop and watch the game . On a Sunday I'll see The Texans vs the Browns and I'll be watching something else 2 min later . NFL ...I'll watch every KC game and any really good matchup but random bad NFL teams I won't watchAt the stadium, it is OK. But over the TV, it is annoying to me.
For me, I love high school sports for the same reasons you mention. I love smaller college sports next for the same reasons. We have a D2 school (Missouri Southern) here in Joplin and I love going to all of those games. Then it's D1 sports and finally the NFL. Similar to others, I like watching the Chiefs, and any other good matchup.I thought the chant was cool when FSU started it. Then when the Braves fans started it, it became obnoxious. I still don't mind it for FSU.
Seems like the older I've gotten as far as in person, I would just as soon see a good HS game -FB, Bball, VB, SB, Track. Less hassle, cheap, and good seat.
The college atmosphere for football and basketball is the best in sports. Unless they get some reasonable rules for NIL, I'm afraid it will ruin college sports with the powerhouses outbidding the rest. I favor paying college athletes some "spending money" and assume that was how it was going to happen. No college athlete should be making big money especially when taxpayer money is being used for their college education. I wish every school would pool their NIL money and spread it around to all the school's athletes.
I'll plan my weekend around a good college match up on TV. I've lost interest in pro football since we lost the Rams. I start paying attention to pro sports when the playoffs start.
This. So much of this.At my age, it is when my bladder wakes me up in the middle of the night.
