Jackson’s team last year was primarily all juniors and more so sophomores. They went undefeated and dominated everyone until they played and lost at vianney. Which of course they won state last year.

The big question in SW MO in Class 2 is how Fair Grove moved West to Lamar's district and East Newton moved east. That Western district is funky with Fair Grove and California mixed with the Lamar, Eldo, and Stockton. East Newton is now with Strafford, Houston, MV/BT Liberty, and Willow Springs. Really makes you question the ownership of a map in the MSHSAA offices.
Jackson returns a QB, and 2 running back that will be juniors this year. Also at least 2 of their O- line. Also returning a lot on defense.
Fair Grove is a good fit for both districts. East Newton is not such a good fit for either. Last year EN got to travel 3+ hours to take a 1 round loss and it could have been further to California. Being moved east should put them well under 3 hours for any option. MV would be quite a haul for them but should still be well under 3 hours. I would almost switch Sarcoxie and Strafford as well. That would make Lamar/California the worst case scenario for either district being just under 3 hours.
Id like to think the budgets of those clubs wouldnt be worth my time!
