HELP ME UNDERSTAND!

If a student is at one school for the first 4 weeks of the year, moves to another district and starts playing football is he eligible?

Example: The kids mom lives in one district, dad is a teacher in the other that he moved too? Does this supercede any MSHSAA rule?

Had this happen a few yrs ago. As long as they move residence they are eligible to play after a short grace period of like 5 days. At least that was how the rules were then. Strangely for us our transfer went to our next opponent on the schedule.

I don't know about football but in some other sports they have to get in a certain number of practices to be eligible. I assume that number would be less in football than in basketball because of the length of the season.

Gary has twin sons! They are in College!
Gary and Doug are brothers but most certainly he is not the QB's dad!

Doug has 2 sons Drew a senior Austin a Sophmore and 2 little girls in like 4th and 2nd!
