What happened here? Didn’t this coach take over last year? The job was posted a week or so ago.

No sure what happened in Eldon but I also noticed Clinton just opened up also. What is going on in Clinton?

Talked to some friends up that way over the holidays. He left in good standing and of his own accord. Told his players he still had desire to coach but didn't want to teach any more.
Wife still in college, young child, living 45 minutes from the school, sounds like a perfect storm. New career selling insurance, I'd say just a young man looking to do what he thinks best for his family under present circumstances.

I'll say this when and if he ever decides to return to coaching I wouldn't hesitate to hire him. What he accomplished this past year was something special. Yes they won 7 games which to some people that's not a big deal but these kids especially the Seniors had only won 2 games in the last 4 years. He taught the kids to win on the court in school and be responsible kids in the community. A lot of people think winning is easy but the first step is learning how to win which is not. The thing that I really left an impression on me was how the little kids looked up to the players which was lacking in the past. Anytime you have an opportunity to make a impact on a young person is really something special. Ben Pallardy good luck with whatever comes your way.

Eldon traditionally has been good going back to the 1950’s. After Coach Lincoln left, they’ve went really down hill.. Probably not won 20 games since his departure in 2013.

I second this. Felt he had completely transformed the program from what it had been recently and did a great job in year 1. Best of luck to Coach Pallardy.

Lol yes. Ain’t had a winning season since and now going on their 5th different coach since him. He was too old school lmao.

Wish Eldon could find a coach like Engelbrecht, Fick or Robertson. They’ve done it a long time and been successful.

Latter two played for a great coach who instilled toughness and accountability for their players.
