Now you are bad as the posters you complain about, hating on a team that has nothing to do with FSU.???????
Since there is such a wide disparity in conference size a better way to evaluate is percentage.
Top 25:
PAC 12 - 50%
SEC - 43%
Big XII - 30%
ACC - 28%
B1G - 21%
Top 10:
Big XII - 20%
PAC 12: 16%
ACC - 14%
B1G - 14%
SEC - 14%
SEC is basically about the same as everyone else.

I didn't say it was up or down - just pointing out that on a percentage basis they are pretty much like everyone else. Most conferences - your beloved SEC included - are top heavy, with a few decently strong teams in the middle that can be up on a once in awhile basis, and bottom feeders.
I guess to judge whether or not its a down year you'd have to look at the percentages over the last 20 years or so. Knock yourself out...
For me personally I'm more concerned with how my K-State Wildcats will be year to year than the Big XII conference.
