Don't be surprised if MSHSAA changes District format in the next couple years.

I do see how in most cases the games are not going to make a difference in the district. I don't see any potential for increased danger outside of the danger every player has for playing more games.

I take the stance that there is more benefits from playing the games and prepping and using them as a spring board for next year than there is for not playing them and just walking away.

I think every program should make that decision of whether to play or not play not the play off system.

I think every team should get a chance to play and deserves a chance to upset the 1 or 2 seed in a epic cinderfella moment. I see you want to decide who deserves in our out based not on competition but on points aka the machine. I've never understood why some football people want to limit games and the experience of playing and developing.

And I don't seek your empathy...that is a really strange comment. How you came to that deduction is perplexing???

Edit* Reread your post I believe I misunderstood your empathy statement.... In that you can't give me empathy for situations. I have empathy but I am a Human Being and not a animal, emotion and fear are the mind killer. And letting emotions and fear over ride logic and reason leads to illogical and ill conceived decisions that have ramifications that are harmful.

Being prepared for the 100% certain injury is not lacking empathy, it shows total empathy in that you are ready for that situation and to respond to it in the best manner possible

There is no benefit to those games and no not everyone deserves to be in. The only ones that seem to even like those games are the parents and community who get to watch there school win by 60 so they can thump their chest about how all state Johnny scored 4 tds.

I think you are assuming a lot that the only programs that want to play are the higher seeds.... Maybe as I suggested teams that don't want to play can forfeit and teams that do can play. I'm all about choice.
