You sir, have issues.
If you can honestly watch MU and say stars don't matter, then you're in denial.
As for UNC, what was the score of the FAU/Florida game?
Kenny,
Mizzou is not good on offense due more to other factors rather than taking 3 stars and turning them into SEC caliber players. Obviously the Mizzou defense is in good shape...and still very young. Losing 2 guys that's it, unless Harris jumps.
The offensive issues stem from a few recruiting classes in 2012 (DGBs) that haven't panned out, injured, or kids have left or been forced to leave;
Boehm, Newsome, Scherer, Hansbourough, and Golden (from juco and gone) have panned out nicely.
Gone from that class are Mauk, Boozer, DGB, Ka'ra Stewart, Williams OL (was a big texas get at time), Holifield, cuffee, Levi Copeland.
Injured Steward RB and Brantly car wreck. RB Walters (Manatee HS) also has suffered injuries.
2013 class 4 star chase Abbington has to go to JUCO and shows up late this year and not ready to play. Natearance Strong ESL RB is at JUCO, he had offers from Ohio State and several other Blue bloods.
Many of the starting OL are from the 2011 class. They red shirted and to be honest many aren't that good. Mcgovern was a good guard this season and has been moved to tackle and it hasn't been successful.
No one ever wanted to start Drew Lock...he didn't even graduate early like most that do start. He will be fine. THe WR core are all freshman and sophomores due to Copeland and DGB being gone.
I know you don't really care but it's just been a combination of skill guys and OL that are either not quite ready, haven't developed, were kicked out, or had to go to JUCO. There have been a lot of factors that have led to the poor offense. When you don't have a top 10 class every year the depth is certainly an issue but there has been things happen that have been out of Mizzou's control with this group as well.
