District points question

I have no clue how the district points work but I noticed this week Monett moved past cassville for the 2nd seed in district standings. The points are
MV 45.38
Monett 44.07
Cassville 43.86
Are there any scenarios where Monett could move past MV and if so would Monett having lost to both Cassville and MV have any effect on the district seedings?

Right now, Monett is the 3 seed due to head to head. If they move into 1st on points they will be the 2 seed. I'm not crunching the numbers, but unless there's a Class 4 team on the schedule I'm unaware of it would take a loss by MV for Monett to move past them. Hope this helps.

Yes thank you! I wasn’t sure if there was any way Monett could become the 1 seed having lost to the two teams around them!

Speaking of, noticed the topical team of the month is holding down a respectable 6 seed in their district points now at 29.8 up a full 4 points since yesterday. They keep this up their last forfeit could net them a home forfeiture in Week 10.

I think the best Monett could be would be the 3 seed because Mt. Vernon and Cassville both beat Monett, if the seeding points stay as they are respectively. The head to head rule really plays out in this situation.

The top 4 are pretty much set. MV will be 1, Cassville 2, Monett 3 and Seneca 4.
