Nebraska could've used another one of those today. Hard to do it when your QB is 10-30.
Beat them pretty good playing a lot of freshmen and sophomores, especially on defense. Lock looks quite good. Future is bright.
I hated to see Mauk get suspended but it forced the coaches to play Lock something the must fans have been waiting for. Even in the previous games in limited opportunities you could see the difference between the two as passers. Lock is bound to make some mistakes and he was fortunate not to get the pick sick interception and the intentional grounding/safety but his potential is unlimited. Even though the play calling was conservative with no deep throws his two touchdown passes were great throws.
Thought you were one to praise Mauk and his abilities? Of course that was before......The Lock kid looked good with a strong arm, threw a ton of very short stuff but he looked good doing it and MU got the W which in the big picture is all that matters. Most the least didnt look very good which is good for you except for Florida yesterday. Them boys will be tough next week and with being @Georgia the week after they will definately test that praised Dline and young QB.
Well "the oracle" has his rankings out and Nebraska at 2-3 is 47th one spot behind Missouri at 46th. Granted he has Michigan ranked higher than Utah, Mississippi ranked higher than Florida,and 3 of the top 6 teams being from the Big 12. So I guess we can go ahead and set the playoff match-ups now.

The oracle had OU 28th last year. True, not great. Baylor WRs got cramps from running to the end zone in their game. Still better than 46th. The better comparison would be with Texas last year who was 53rd.
