Some interesting comments from that CTE doctor says that parents should be charged with child abuse if kids under 18 are playing contact football.

Im not even gonna read the article the headline is enough to make me mad. This doctor needs his own head examined by far. Living here in the Ozarks we have kids who get concussions jumping off bridges at the local swimming hole, riding atv's (with a helmet), doing everyday farm chores and a tool breaks, being slapped by an ex-girlfriend, every day horseplay, so on so forth. There are people who get hurt doing anything in every day life, yet you cant let these kids just sit on the couch so they are "safe" because that hurts their overall health. This attack on football has got to come to an end, NOW

Agree, they need to study brains of soccer, track and people not involved in sports at all for comparison.

The football we watched in the early and mid 1970s, when football was really at its peak, is gone. All the rule changes in the NFL have made it a glorified flag league.

I hate the NFL. Complete waste of time. It's almost as bad as the NBA.

Please do NOT let your daughter play soccer! Remove your daughter from soccer immediately! If you let your daughter play soccer then the she will end up with CTE!!!!

If you force your daughter to play soccer that is child abuse!!
