Nixa loses and Carthage wins on a blocked fg return for TD.

It was definitely a GREAT night for some and soul crushing for others. No way Nixa went into that game expecting to lose. I think Carthage expected to win but didn't expect it to be so difficult and come down to a freak turn of events after the clock hit 0.

Sounded like Webb City was pretty happy with how they rebounded as well. Carl was probably pleased with their performance in a lopsided shutout win. Sure it was Willard but still a solid performance.

After I watched Willard I wonder how they scored 72 points against anyone. Have they had injuries since then?

I don't know but my guess is they are just mentally done. And they get Carthage next week to end the regular season.
