It was a bleacher report article on Al Davis obsession with speed but it won’t load?

what about teams with speed but no discipline or physicality? Springfield Central had guys that could fly for years, but little else.

The point is for everyone to acknowledge JN's team and how gifted they are compared to others. Just do it so we can all move on and talk about football.

Track speed doesn't always translate well in football...

Bosko. The athletic years..............
Easy there you bozos and clowns. For one, I already shared that GIF! This is just a different angle. Second, my athletic years? I played football at NEBRASKA!!! NOT track. NICE TRY BOZO!!

Factor in wind speed and direction, elevation above sea level and humidity for absolute accuracy!
That's what is great about track and field, and electronic timing....all the B.S. melts away and objective reality sets in. Not over hyped players racking up stats against crap teams.

No body is arguing that speed doesn't matter. My only point was that Center was faster THAN KEARNEY. Meaning average speed across the whole team. I'm glad I am living "rent free" in your head enough for you to make a new thread about it though. Also defense is a facet of the game and Center gave up only 21 while Kearney gave up 49. Based on your logic Center should be WAY faster. Speed helps and generally leads to success on the football field but is not a deciding factor in outcomes all the time. Ballers gonna ball bro
Kearney was better than Center hands down. We had much more trouble with Kearney's RB than Centers. Kearney also had the best secondary we have seen all year. Center had some lineman that could move, but were no match for Smithville's interior O-line and D-line. You keep referring to average speed, so I guess you are talking about the speed that Center's lineman had. They certainly did have some linemen that could move. Center wasn't very deep, and its tough to play teams that can fully platoon both offense and defense.
