Covid, what would you like to see done differently?

Me personally the one improvement I would like to see and it might just be my area, I would like to see people who just want to get tested who have no symptoms to be able to walk in and get that done, maybe at a separate testing location versus those who are showing symptoms and sick. I know many will not go to the free testing sights for fear they will get it from those who are really sick. I would also like to see some antibody testing available for whoever wants to get it done. Even if you had to pay little it would be nice to see if you really did have this back in February like many claim when they were really sick.

And I will take more money if the government wants to hand it out... LOL.

Agreed. Give people all the information and allow vulnerable populations to take whatever steps they deem necessary to protect themselves. Allow anyone who isn't high risk to go about their business.

Well again let's not squabble over what was not done, just answer with what you would like to see now? And not from a party perspective, I want to see what you think, so what you would like to see to make you feel comfortable going forward.

I mean I agree for the first 2 months when everybody wanted to wear a mask all the experts were saying don't they don't work. Now they are trying to convince everybody they work. I am sure they would like a time machine and say yes get all the mask you can and wear them, but not possible. So now do you want to see mandatory mask?

Go back to January. Jump in feet first and start pumping out PPE for the entire nation. Encourage everyone to wear masks and get used to it because we would have had enough for everyone to wear for an extended period of time. Have the president and his staff wear them and show it’s not a political thing it’s a survival thing.

Don’t deregulate tests and we won’t have bogus tests all over the country.—-see 60 minutes last night.

don’t send mixed messages. Don’t have pence or Fauci say one thing and Trump ridicule Dems who are following the federal guidelines. It has confused everyone and given people permission to ignore good advice.

There is no reason we couldn’t wear masks as a nation for an extended period of time until a vaccine is ready. Little pricks like Fearman12 would have cried about freedom but would have felt the pressure to conform to social norms if Trump hadn’t made it a macho BS divisive conflict.

He is absolutely the worst person possible to handle a pandemic. It ain’t fixable.

Masks are 60% effective. Testing is over rated since there's a vast difference between the mortality rates according to age. Protect the seniors and do what you can. Stop making it hard

Sometimes I wear a mask sometimes I don't. Went to Walmart yesterday and the place was empty...maybe there was 10 people shopping total. I never got within 20 feet of anybody not even a worker so I didn't wear a mask. However Sunday when I went to Lowes you couldn't take two steps without somebody being in your way, so yeah I put on a mask, since I couldn't stay 2 feet away from anybody in the store, also ran into a lady who was bent over coughing no mask and she even looked at me and said I cannot get rid of this dry cough and sore throat...and she never covered her cough....SMH.
So whether I wear a mask or not depends on how crowded it is and my comfort level. I don't wear a mask alone in my car so not going to wear a mask alone in a store.

I agree on both. I would really like to know who has actually had it. Wish they would make up their minds if we get money. Guess it depends on job numbers this week.
