Ava should clear District 5. District 6 has some good teams with Cassville, Mt Vernon, Aurora. I can imagine a rematch later on between Cassville and Mt Vernon could almost go either way.
District 7 you have Odessa and District 8 is wide open from the looks of things. Could be easy sailings for Odessa till the Quarterfinals when they would be playing possibly Ava or who ever can come out on top between Cassville, Mt Vernon, and Aurora.
If Lutheran North does qualify for state play they could be given a rematch game against Blair Oaks in Sectionals which would be HUGE.
District 1 you got Valle Catholic, District 2 you got Park Hills and St Clair. Honestly since I don't know much on them and since I know about the fire power of Lutheran North and Blair Oaks (seen all of their games this year) I would give a nod to those 2 teams at this time in quarters. Valle Catholic has been a force to reckon with over the past few years in Class 1 and even so far this year. To really get an understanding on where they would stand against a true Class 3 state opponent I would need to see a little bit better matchup first as stated with Kennett at the end of districts. I have seen Blair Oaks put a thumping on teams and then that team would go into another person's house and put a thumping on them. They are better this year than they were last year when they fell to Cassville in quarters. Lutheran North on the other hand has yet to play a game but we all know they are usually good to go against who ever they are matched up with. To say Valle Catholic will be able to cruise through either Blair Oaks and or Lutheran North would be a far fetched fantasy.
