I'm going with Lee's Summit North(they actually play Blue Springs South, not Blue Springs) and William Chrisman out of the KC side.

I'm the opposite both games but think each could go either way.

Kickapoo tops Republic 45-39. Margin was 7 points or less throughout game. Brookshire led Poo with 18 including the game-clinching free throws and a last second dunk. Senn had 14.

Republic led by Tucker Thomas with 10 and Broc Smith with 9

I feel more confident in my LSN pick...the WC/PHS game is a tough call. PHS seemed to struggle a bit toward the end of the regular season.
Bingo on the early game. HUGE season for Chrisman!

You nailed them both! Silverstein Eye Centers arena will be a MADHOUSE Saturday night given the proximity of both schools to it. I would assume LSN enters as the favorite but, as tonight's escape vs. BS South showed, who knows?

Rock Bridge vs. CBC is my state title guess..............

LSN vs Chrisman should be a good one....I think LSN won a meeting early in the year by 1 point.

This is a year in the kc metro where there are a lot of good teams but no dominate team. Has made for some great games.

Once upon a time (saw them at Jewell in December) I thought Rockhurst was that team. Yes North won the Chrisman tourney December 1 by 1 pt.

What's the early game going to be like there? I've seen Grandview, but don't know a thing about Southeast.

Grandview should win going away. Don't get me wrong Southeast can run the floor well but the shooting is just not quite at the level, in my opinion, to hang with the Bulldogs plus the Knights haven't played near the slate. I watched almost all the Lafayette-Southeast game and never saw anything that changed this opinion at all regardless of which advanced.
