Webb City had a "hiccup" against Branson and still winning showed how superior they are in class 4 than everyone else. They will win the title game by 40+ this year. The rest of the teams are just playing to not have to start wrestling practice.

Don't forget forget about West Plains. Kind of a sleeper in South Central MO that ran away with the Ozark Conference.
The rest of the Ozark conference was in full retreat all season which gave it the appearance of WP running away with it
Not forgetting about anyone. WC can play their JV to a state title this year.
Not going to disagree with you on that but they took care of business and held teams to less to 100 points and scored well over 400. Lebanon and Camdenton are ranked in their respective classes and West Plains throttled them both. So they can definitely be defined as a sleeper.
WP is good this year and wasn’t try to take that away from them, but they are in a dud conference for football
I'm a sucker for a underdog story. Just know several coaches have talked highly of them and I was impressed by their size and speed over the summer at team camps.

Too bad the real state title game is the first round of the playoff. Webb City should do the right thing and give the second place trophy and give it to West Plains.

They could very well win by 14, but I have doubts it would be easy.
Side note ...Webb's freshman qb looks pretty damn good . Several good lineman as well
If #44 Crouch is as good as his daddy was at Seneca they have a pretty decent linebacker also. That group has a chance to be special.
I think they were officially 8-1,,,but they had 45 kids out and Roderique was scheduling 2 freshman games,,or a freshman and a 9th-10th grade most Monday’s. They had a loss to Republic I think but not sure who was playing that game
Yeah ...I knew they were playing a combo schedule due to the amount of jv and freshman players they had ..
Webb City 9th went 9-0 and 7 of those boys are playing varsity now. Great group watched their game against Carthage and WOW!
Haven't seen them this year, but I'd expect them and Webb City to have an epic battle in the semis if it comes to it.
Yea I think Carthage got up on them early like 14-0??? It didn’t end well for Carthage.
They have tremendous natural talent. IF they are willing to put in the work they should win a few the next 3 years
Oh man, you are quoting yourself from 2015? Or 2009? Maybe 2002, or 2003? Or maybe even 1996 I suppose of the Webb Slayers don't make it, then Webb has a better chance of avoiding their tradition of losing to them...hehehe.
