Class 4 Easy path to state on one side of the bracket.

not sure what that has to do with it... I think they have a much more explosive offense than Carthage. If you are pointing to the fact that Webb held Carthage to 7, you need to look at the fact that they allowed 56 to Joplin. Like I said, i think Webb would win if they played, just dont think they would shut the Lakers out.
I would swear we held Joplin to 35??

They are a great team the first 24 minutes. Too many kids on the field playing both ways they run out of gas in the second half in a close game
Webb just matches up well against Carthage. Webb has a physical defense that can stop the run. When Carthage can't run, they're going to struggle. Most other teams won't be able to stop that rushing attack like Webb did.

I agree that Webb is really good and is likely the favorite, I'm not sure how they would roll that side though.

They play one team that beat them last year in Ladue and they only beat Camdenton by 1. I'm not sure about Ladue, but Camdenton is much better than last year.
Again, Camdenton has the best offense in the state statistically, so It isn't being better, it's having a much higher scoring offense with a talented Quarterback

Bahah..Camdenton has the weakest schedule of anyone in the top 10 in Class 4.

No disagreement on the schedule so far. Doesn't change anything about their offense though or the fact that Webb would have to score 28 to beat them (which is a high possibility)

Last year West Plains had the highest scoring offense in the state going into the playoffs and they got shutout by Ladue while never making it past the Rams 40-yard line. Having said that Camdenton's offense is very hard to limit for anybody this year. The difference is Camdenton are great at keeping plays alive and can wear out teams by doing that. Plus they can score anywhere on the field.

For anybody to hatch their chickens at this point would be foolish.

Ladue must not look past their district with MICDS and Rockwood Summit in it despite beating both of them up last year. Webb will have a tougher district and probably an even harder quarterfinal game.

Camdenton is a bad matchup for Webb . That game (assuming it happens) scares me . The rest of the teams I'm not worried about . Joplin and Carthage are the only teams to score on webbs varsity. The other scores were against the 3rd or 4th team. The defense is as good as I've seen in several years. Joplin game ; Webb came in with their 3rd string qb ...a sophomore at that and played the worst half of fb I've seen them play since 2016 against CJ . 5 drives ...1 td ...4 turnovers . 1 pick 6 and the other 3 turnovers were all inside their 30 yd line . You don't beat good teams like that . If they did that against Carthage they would have lost by several scores . I think WC is a better team than Joplin but that doesn't mean crap . Joplin played better and won . Down 35-28 Webb came away with a fumble recovery at their 40 yd line but it was called back for targeting . (Not a good call.) Same drive ...4th and 17 ....pass interference....makes it 4th and 2 and Joplin picks it up and runs out the clock. Despite turning the ball over 80% of the time in the first half ...they gave themselves a shot. As far as Joplin "letting off the gas and subbing early " that didn't happen. Its on YouTube if really want to watch it . Westmoreland got hit hard after a catch and set out a defensive series (that Webb scored on) but came back shorty after . The trainers were looking at him on the sidelines .
Webb played like poop in the first half and didn't come back . If you are minus 3 or 4 in turnovers ...you don't beat a school ranked #3 two classes higher than you . I think it was the perfect storm for Joplin . They are damn good and will make noise as will Webb.

Webb has ran into 10-1 or 11-0 west plains several times and turbo clocked them literally every single time . A few years ago WP had a rb that was #5 in the nation in yds and averaged less than 1 yd per carry against them. Camdenton on the other hand ...despite their crappy strength of schedule...it's just not a good matchup for Webb . They face the spread all year but most of those teams are 75% run . They don't really ever see what Camdenton does ...wide splits ...5 wide ...80% passing

Yea Camdenton looks great against Ozark Conference teams,,,,with that and a dollar you can get a cup of coffee

They won once the other team let up after dominating and still won the game.

I dont expect you to be rational I mean you still think KC is even relevant in Football in 2019, they havent had an elite team in a while.

Seriously? Out of the top 10 teams in Classes 4-6, only 8 of the 30 are from the St. Louis metro. Eleven are from the KC area.

In the last decade Webb and WP have played 3 times.

2012: West Plains record was 0-9 going into game
2015: West Plains record was 10-1 going into game
2016: West Plains record was 5-5 going into game

Webb has only played a West Plains team that was above .500 one time in the last 10 years. Granted, they took care of business and won 45-12.
But let’s not act like they played West Plains in all of their good years, because they only did once.

And I saw a lot of guys on here doing score comparisons from last year. Well here’s one for you if we’re going to pull that card:

Webb 28 - Camdenton 27

West Plains 41 - Camdenton 7

“Oh what could have been if WP would have stayed in Webb’s district last year”

Ladue matches up physically with Webb . Their d line has been great the last 2 years . Hands down the best Webb has seen . Last year was difficult because Webb was a mash unit at rb . Their best 3 rb barely played and all 3 were totally spatted on their ankles to were they couldn't make a cut if they wanted to . They played mostly with their #4 and #5 rb and lost . Ladue was damn good on defense tho

Humm . Seems like Webb played wp several times when wp was supposed to be good . Perhaps I'm wrong . Wouldn't be the first time

OF COURSE YOU BRING UP RANKINGS. Of those KC schools how many are ranked #1??? How many seriously have a chance to win it all?? If this was gambling would any of those KC schools even be top 3 favored to win?? Lets cut it out.

Same thing that happened when they played Ladue they would have been embarrassed

And how many of those number ones from St. Louis are public schools? Bahaha... Seriusly, the inferiority litte guy complex from St. Louis is funny...but also, earned. Someday the Lu might catch up to the number of state championships won by Kansas City schools, (it might take 40 years, but maybe...keep hope alive!)

I dont care that they're are private bahaaha, thats only a Jab to you people no one here cares.

and yea definitely go back 40 years because the Area wont be getting any Championships anytime soon.

Does Webb ever get "beat" or is it always just because of turnovers, refs and injuries? Just asking for a friend.
They have got beat by a better team A handful of times over the last 30 years but it doesn’t happen often
