Veteran head coach Greg Buescher enters his
6th season at Sturgeon with a Bullldog squad that finished 22-6 a season ago.
"We lost 3 starters, but replace them with two players that started 10 games
between them:, commented Buescher.? " We have a very talented incoming
freshman class that I expect to contribute right away".
Junior Spencer Kelly(6-2) returns after
earning all-conference honors in the Central Activities and all-district honors
a season ago. Several seniors return for the Bulldogs including Lane Arends(6-2)
, Jordan Cranmer(5-10) , Aron Carpenter(5-11), and Jason Miller(6-1).
Several newcomers are expected to make big contributions
