In this 10 team bracket, Cabool earned the 8 seed with an 0-9 record ahead of 2-7 Miller and 2-7 Skyline.

Miller dropped below them after Marionville scored with :22 left in the game to go up 22-7.

So the Cardinals get to take that scenic trip down to Kabul.

Man how bad is the schedule of those two 2-7 teams to be below an 0-9?
They need springfield central in their lives.

Cabool had 3 Class 3 teams, 6 Class 2 teams.

Miller had 4 Class 2 teams, 5 Class 1 teams.

Skyline had 1 Class 3, 4 Class 2 teams, 4 Class 1 teams.

In the SCA Kabul plays alot of bigger schools. The SCA use to have a class 5 West Plains, class 4 Salem, class 3 Ava, Mt Grove Houston, class 2 Liberty, Willow Springs, class 1 Thayer. I know classes have changed but that helps your standing.

Has Marionville got some players out? They didn't look very deep a while back, but no Class 1 team does. A bye will help.

I'm not sure, but it looks like Pierce City is going to Windsor? Midway going to Ash Grove could be an upset. Good district, if a little top heavy.

WP was Class 5 for one cycle around Y2K, idk if they were even still in the SCA or were independent after getting booted when that happened

Miller to Cabool isn’t that bad a haul. They’ll be okay. The smh part of this “district” is the fact Adrian and Midway are in it with Cabool.

since they artificially limit the teams in class .5, they will have some weird ones.

Beats last years.
40 in the class would have been much better.

Imagine if Lincoln would have beat Midway and Marionville didn't tack one on late. There could have been a chance for Kabul to drive to Midway. A cool 216 miles for a first round game... makes me think someone would have called and said "uh no thanks"

Can’t wait to see how this one plays out. Should be good, competitive games other than Cabool/Miller. CALPREPS has Adrian winning the district by a td on a neutral field. Couldn’t find the button that took into account a 2 hr bus ride….

I know I've said this before, but unless it is a super long ride (3+ hours at least) home field in HS amounts to very little. It's not like it is loud enough to affect communication or anything like that and I've never met a good HS football player that cared if they were on the road. I'd say if you were betting, home field in HS might be worth 1 point

comets will take this district with ease.

I hope the Comets win the district but unless they start playing better they may not even make it to the championship game. They struggled last week to beat a 2-6 Miller team.

Thought AG played better than them other than the AG qb throwing 4 passes to the wrong team.

Were there some Comet ejections in the AG game?
