Carthage at CJ

Anyone watch CJ on Friday? There were no highlights from their game on the local news and the globe basically only had the score. Just curious how they played, the dynamics of the game, and what stood out. From watching the score app it appeared they controlled the game with Willard.

I posted my thoughts on C-town in the thread from their Friday game but overall they look pretty promising. I never really know what to expect when playing Carl. The first COC year it was a close very tough game. Then CJ steamrolls Carthage the next year. Followed by a couple years of the opposite.

Some of the things I saw Friday suggest that Carthage, still early in the season could be vulnerable to some goofy surprise big plays.

Carthage should win. CJ seems better than last year but not as good as 3 or 4 years ago. The entire CJ Willard is available. I will post it.

Also I forgot to include in my notes on Carthage. They seem to be without a solid kicker or maybe it's just a strategy to squib kick every time? I thought it was odd and gave Ozark a relatively short field on most possessions. Did make all the PATs though.

Will probably be another one of those games that Carthage should win big but ends up letting the opponent hang around.
