We are no where near the Cubs with the roster we have. The Cubs are better in 6 positions
than the Cards. Starting pitching they are better 1 to 5 , we have some good parts but
they are more solid. Bullpen they are better but both closers are lights out. Cubs manager
you might not like him but he is better than Matheny. Unless the Cards want to look up
at the Cubs for many years they better figure it out.

It's over Bro. Cubs will storm back and win this WS and dominate this division for a minimum five years while the Cardinals pump their cash into Ballpark Village and batting helmets filled with warm doughnuts.

Not much can be done about the talent gap, tbh. Only so much the Birds can do in the offseason. Whatever they do won't close the gap completely. Don't always have to win the division. Just get into the playoffs. That shouldn't be an issue, but was this season.

Wait...There are batting helmets filled with warm doughnuts???

Dear Lord...Gimmie that and one of those glass jars of Pevely Farms chocolate milk. Then wheel me home.

One of my soon to be deceased buddies ate every single doughnut out of one of the big helmets at Busch and was up half the night on his throne. Bahahahahahahaha
