Someone asked if this means he is headed for the GRAND SLAMMA.
Another guy said they need to find a veteran, sober announcer. Get Mike Shannon on the phone!!
Personally I think all that time with Jimmy Baseball in the booth has put him over the edge.

They said he is facing $25,000 dollar fine at least. Can't imagine he doesn't lose his license.
It's a sad deal. Some people just can't stop it. Hopefully he gets the right help It'll be a long hard road.
The Cards and Bally might find something else for him to do but I can't see them putting him back on the air. They took heat the last time. Doubt he'll get another chance with that job. And he probably shouldn't.

Post Dispatch say Dan will be replaced on SLU broadcasts through December. Maybe the Cardinals won't get run him off.
I didn't realize he'd done it for 24 years. I don't even remember who the last full time guy was. It's a sad deal. I hope he can get straightened out. It won't be easy.
I have no idea who to expect. Possibly Ricky Horton but I'd rather not. Nothing personally against him. He's an OK dude. He just kind of wears me out for some reason. Don't know if Bob Carpenter would come back or not. Joe isn't going to do it fulltime. Costas might be interested in a temporary gig until they find the right guy. Guess we'll see.

Jim Brockmire got multiple chances, gotta believe Mac will also may have to go to Morristown, PA though.
