Pretty sure we started playing on it in 2007 so we got ten years use.
I remember playing on the "New Field" back in 1969, was amazed it actually had grass on it, the old Hatten Field was pretty sad

The new turf they lay down is fantastic. I've been to three fields with the latest, that were laid down last year. Going to look great.
If the concept is finalized it will have Columbia blue end zones with alternating shades of green turf every ten yards.
That looks really nice, I like the columbia blue end zone. I saw a concept of the Carthage turf that was really cool, somewhat like what you've got there except with the words over a cool diamond pattern and in a collegiate like font. For whatever reason that is not the design that ended up on the field. The design they used looks like maybe they just tasked the architect to draw up something. They'll have a nice looking field, but I do wish they had gone with the other concept I saw as it had a lot more character.

The turf was 10 years old, but that got 15 year worth of play out of it. They played 5 more weeks long on it than must teams. For 10 years.
Not really a complaint, just saying that I wished they would have gone with a concept I saw early on, basically a blue version of the Mizzou turf. It would have been really neat, but that's not what they went with.
It's going to be among the best facilities in the area regardless of my personal preference on which turf print they used.

It will be well deserved, you guys really do have some nice facilities over there, was in the highs school last year for a basketball game and that is a nice place.
