District. These are class 4 teams only in enrollment not in what they put on the field
they are very good class 5 schools for all years but dropped to class 4 this year.

Webb City has been inconsistent this year and clearly not as good as years past but to say Webb City "can't" beat Parkway North is about as ignorant as they come. I would bet the farm that Webb City has played and beaten a half dozen teams in the past 3-4 seasons that would probably either come close to, or turbo clock Parkway North.

2 years ago the Class 5 championship was played between teams that were blown out by class 4 teams. I assume Parkway North was Class 5 then?

Let's not conflate the idea (your opinion) that a team won't win, with can't.

Parkway Central was Class 4 in 2007 and, credit to them, got to the Dome BUT got turboed by Lee's Summit West. Those two hooked up in the Dome in 2013 as well (Class 5) with the same result. No matter who emerges from the West side I don't see anything changing this year.......

Kearney was Class 5 and advanced to the semis in 2013 and have also never had a close game vs. any St. Louis school. I will let the Webb folks take on this ridiculousness...............just how many state titles have the Parkway school district won?

i have wrote one letter in my life like that (which I signed), many years ago webb was playing Seneca and both teams pretty salty. Globe writer wrote an article about how the administration at Webb should make arrangements to move the game to MSSC so there would be proper facilities. He went on to say how The People at Webb had no idea how to host a big event, and it should be played on sat so everyone in the area could attend. Jim acknowledged getting the letter in his column but didnt print it (thank god) or give me editorial credit

Calpreps/Maxpreps Strength of schedule ratings. Parkway North barely makes the top 10 in Class 4. Because they aren't in KC/or SW Mo where 90% of the top teams come from--and a host of powerhouse Class 5 teams to play.

I don't think you know much about high school football in Missouri. Chamanade got rolled by 30.points last year. There were several teams in KC alone, better than them in Class 5.

and semifinals. Lets see Parkway North has had 5 guys play for Missouri in last
3 years, They play Kirkwood who has 4 to 5 division 1 players every year. Pattonville
has 3 division 1 signees this year, as does Eureka. When I look at division 1 rosters don't
see many guys from Webb conference compared to class 5 and 6 schools in St.Louis
Area, we will wait and see.

D1 kids a large majority of time, are D1 because of potential. Not necessarily because they were great in high school, and definitely not because they were on great high school teams. St. Louis can keep their great athletes, the West can keep their great teams. I'll take that deal any day.
