C5 D8 championship St. Pius X at Platte County TONIGHT!

Even if Pius wins and is deemed unsuitable their are plenty of host sites within minutes of pius that would let them host there. My guess right now is I spend the next 3 weekends North of the mo river watching football
Semifinal round I would bet my mortgage MICDS is the opponent for one of these four.

Platte County spent God knows how much on all those renovations are they getting visitor side seating?????? Tomorrow night I may have a nice little group of neutral fans going I don't want to be standing!
I will be getting there early to try and grab some good seats and not stand as I have the same issue I think plenty neutral fans are showing up.

Northland's best game of the year to date ABSOLUTELY the best one inside Platte-Clay county plus probably the battle of the best two QBs not just in the aforementioned but the whole darned Metro!

Both hands plus both feet get it right, Kane.

Class 5 in KC 2025 looks to be more of the same a few good schools and a ton of bad ones with pius and Platte starting as favs
C4 Kearney is going to be right back in the mix, too. Returning both QBs, a top RB and both twins on the D Line among others with a very solid Soph class moving up, too. Get used to the term "special" describing all three of these Northland programs...............

Y2K and two years later St. Pius X wins the 2A and first C2 titles and Platte County three-peats with these two being first and last years atop 3A-C3.

Best of those two years was 2000 Pius rolls over Palmyra while PC dominates Salem in the Dome. Only one loss among the two and it was Pius (12-1) losing early that regular season to (drum roll) rival Platte County (14-0)...................

That Salem team was pretty good too and PC made them look silly.
Ditto 2002.............I remember chatting with a few Pius fans who hung around after their title for the Kearney-Eureka game commenting how they never in their wildest imaginations thought we would ever be anywhere near the Dome. But I digress just little memories that come back from time to time.................

They should play the game tomorrow at Staley... plenty of room for a game that is the marquee game in the city. If the winner is deemed the home team next week, do it again ! 👍

There are lot of delusions about these two teams. The thing is, they have both had easy schedules. For Platte County, it is the easiest schedule in 25 years.

Platte County's strength of schedule ranks 47/56 teams in Class 5. Pius is 39/56

I give the edge through to Platte County, assuming they can handle Pius, who has played a mostly Class 3 schedule.

I think either of them are toast in the next round.

I don't know about this but what makes this time of year so much fun! Both played Fort O who had the best LB in the Metro and a solid D. Last week Pius was all over them #7 was on an island all night. That did not happen, granting that was way back in Week 1, when Kearney played Fort in a game that was far closer than the final score indicated.

I like either's chances next round especially given the quality, never mind schedules, of both QBs.

You realize that Webb advanced due to dumb officials not recognizing what was going on against GV and they played a 1 pt game with Carthage already. Pius would beat GV by 30 and PC already has.
