C5 D8 championship St. Pius X at Platte County TONIGHT!

That's exactly why I have the conversations with you and don't call you a clown or worse. I will call every game as I see it. If GV is up or down I will tell you and it is what it is. However their are others on here who can't seem to utter the words that another team just might be better than theirs and get flat disrespectful when others say it and I choose to just call them clowns and move on.
That being said I knew we had a QB problem since summer and I knew we were vulnerable to deep passes but I'm not going to blast that on here and give away the keys to the war chest lol.
Oh I've gotten plenty of grief right here in the ole hometown for my observations/opinions. Once upon a time I actually cared LOL...............

One of the most priceless lessons anyone can learn is NEVER try to make everyone your friend. It won't happen. If you have opinions and a forum you're gonna have haters. I just smirk at them now..............

On that Webb-Carthage D7 note anyone out there who "knows" how that will turn out I'm all eyes and ears...............
I think it will be very similar to the first game. Think Carthage showed last week they were capable of putting together a good offensive game plan even without the injured tight end. Think it comes down once again to the defenses and who can get a stop, as well as some whacky special teams play that seems to happy each year on both sides. Both sides will be incredibly motivated, it should be a great game.

Then I need to add him to the payroll because it's damn near a 24/7 job around here

Well Friday night at Grain Valley Webb had some players that were “ not available to travel”,,,, probably not a big difference maker but you never know.

Hopefully everyone can make the bus trip to Carthage and they will be at full strength.

Webb brought a nice crowd to Grain Valley, Carthage will be SRO

I think Platte County would probably beat Webb by 21+, but I would really be surprised if Webb even gets by Carthage. PC/Carthage is a better match-up but Platte County is much more closer to Nixa's level than any other team from the Ozarks is to theirs.

Assuming PC beats Pius.

If you are right Pius would host the Webb-Carthage winner. Where, oh where, will they put everyone? I know it won't happen but I'd consider talking to NKC about having that one there..................
Surely they wouldn't be permitted to host it at their own stadium since they don't meet MSHSAA's minimum seating requirements for Class 5, would they? Either Carthage or Webb City would bring enough fans that there would be enough space to put them.

Due to Webb being on the road twice in District play the Platte County-St. Pius X winner could only go down there. Opposite if Carthage wins they can only come up to the aforementioned winner and there would be the issue you point out. I saw Carthage at Staley back in 2017 early on didn't look like that big of a crowd but it rivaled that huge 2019 Jackson one come kickoff.

All we can do is watch it all unfold tomorrow night....................and don't call me SHIRLEY.

Good, they get to play in a nice stadium. One that has a home field and visitor side.

Even if Pius wins and is deemed unsuitable their are plenty of host sites within minutes of pius that would let them host there. My guess right now is I spend the next 3 weekends North of the mo river watching football
