He's not a free man. He's on house arrest with the exception of community service and work time (required to work 30 hours and community service 10/week).

I worked in corrections for many years. People rotting in a cell on the tax payers dime isn’t the answer for non violent crimes. Don’t get we wrong people need to face consequences for their actions. But unless you are a rapist or murder, lock’em up and throw away the key isn’t the answer. There is zero positive impact on society. You don’t pay taxes or restitution while incarcerated.

Why waste time, if a person is seen committing a crime with a gun shoot them there on the spot. They got those guys on video shooting, bam execute them. Those kids hiding those guns, bam execute them.
