Adding to the proud legacy of Scott County Central basketball
by earning another Class 1 Show-Me Showdown title the Braves finished the 2011
with a 29-2 mark, led by Otto Porter who know roams the paint for the Georgetown
Hoyas.

With the end of a Porter era the Braves will find new leaders
as they seek to build on their state championship streak that has reached 3
years in Missouri Class 1. Opening at No. 1 in the MBCA/MOsports
Pre-Season basketball poll the Braves have plenty of holes to fill.

Returning to lead the way, Dominique Porter
returns along with LaMarcus Steward, the 6th man from the title
team.

"We are wirey, and guard heavy", commented head coach Kenyon Wright. "We have some quickness and will be able to
shoot the ball a little." Working hard to fulfill the legacy of the
program Wright says the Braves have worked hard all summer and have a very
good work ethic. History has proven and the pollsters have spoken, the
Braves open at No. 1 in Missouri.
