Board is very lively this afternoon

Hwy 13 in Warrensburg MO this is reality. It is ridiculous.

Oh I know. It’s been like that for years. No joke.
And the roundabouts don’t even help with the flow of traffic around there half the time.
Got a lot of immediate family in Warrensburg
They are like 5 of them within a few miles! Two out in the middle of nowhere since they moved the main Hwy out of town. I use that route going from home to Lucas Oil Speedway in the spring it drives me nuts.

Haven’t been to Lucas Oil in awhile.

Used to go to dirt racing all over the place.
Iowa, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri

Last race I went to was probably a few years ago when I went to WP Speedway and Lebanon speedway the same summer. Just don’t get to them as much as I used to.

Went to the Topless 100 in Batesville Arkansas when I was younger and that may have been one of the best experiences on dirt I’ve had.

I'm going Off- Topic here but it's great to see someone on here that's like dirt track racing. racing is my favorite sports outside football. i been to about 6 Dirt races over the summer
It is a life long tradition in my family. Began in 1980 been going ever since and not all of the family has just been fans (sis and bro in law campaign a USMTS modified). I know it is off topic but that's OK because we are gonna beyond be dissecting all the action to come this Holiday weekend.

Of all of it #1 by FAR is World of Outlaws Sprint Car racing. Knoxville IA every mid-August is a pilgrimage for especially my Dad and I. HIGHLY recommend it.

It is a shame the Gibson family gave up West Plains Motor Speedway the real home of the Show Me 100. FUN STUFF. Down that way my favorite track not named Lucas Oil Speedway is BATESVILLE ARKANSAS. Topless 100.

Top, you hit the nail on the head with this one. I don't recall this forum being so live and active in quite some time! Many posts and replies for me to enjoy this evening. Makes me remember the good ole days on here. Oh crap. I really am I Doc Guy.
Yep it sure has been interesting and it is only Monday. Semi Saturday is always my favorite weekend of the year!

Moberly hosts some real good midget races, too. Do yourself a favor and either head south to Ken Schrader's I-55 Speedway in Pevely (south of STL about 25 miles) or northwest to Knoxville Raceway especially when the Outlaws are in town. You will be hooked for life!

Used to go to St Francois raceway in Farmington as a teen about every Saturday night in the summer. Man, I miss that life sometimes. So fun and simple.

It was rough. I hear they’re thinking of expanding 63 to 6 lanes, 3 each direction to accommodate all the visitors to the region

The rare time my other love for motorsports is discussed on this board. I worked two yrs on Scott Palmers top fuel dragster in 18-19 and Alexis Dejorias funny car in 2020!!!
