It was the 70th all-time Blue & Gold victory for Glendale! http://glendalebasketball.weebly.com/blue--gold-tournament-history.html

Monty Johal took a nasty fall to the floor (link below), but came back in the game to score 30! It's his ninth game with 30+.

Parkview fell to Republic 47-36. I thought the Vikings had the momentum early on, but Coach Fisher called a TO and really challenged his guys ("Are you scared!!!"). They responded...big time on the defensive end.
Some limited Parkview highlights:

Glendale "upset" #1 in Missouri Class 2 Hartville 83-70. Glendale will play in its 17th title game tonight against Republic. Looking for title #11.
Highlights:

This was the fifth known time that Glendale has knocked off a number one ranked team. Also, they ended Hartville's 19-game winning streak.

Tonight's game is a prime example of why the powers that be picked Republic to be in the T of C and not Glendale. Vastly superior team in just about every respect (at least at this point in the season).

Side note, it appears to me that it'll be at least a decade, if not longer, before Glendale wins a Blue & Gold title again. Never thought I'd live to see that happen. WOW! How the might have fallen.
