Honestly, this would be the year to have that game at Plaster. The atmosphere would be second to none and you’d probably have 6-7,000 maybe even more just for that one game.

Lamar would have won 2 games earlier w a couple more x points BUT the team stayed w the kicker and he improved He actually had an obvious turnaround starting after he had struggled half the year ,the first field goal he made he was swamped and dog piled by the team. He has been very efficient since

I'm trying to figure out what unfair advantage Lamar has. The only thing that would create a quasi unfair advantage is they have 4 coaches that could be a successful head coach at any school.
I don't know if this is a compliment or a spite but I'm shocked Lamar has been this good for this long because their two biggest employers went bankrupt years ago . I work in Joplin and work with a few Lamar folks . There isn't hardly anything in Lamar in the way of jobs outside of farming . A bunch of minimum wage jobs like fast food and gas stations .
