Best small town high schools in each state

I was thinking it was South Shelby.
However, Stewartsville is not just a small town, but played small -6 Man football - long before South Shelby was still Shelbina and Clarence.

Was on the losing side in that 1993 state title game against Fruitland. Might have been a different story if we hadn't lost 2 both way starters the week before in the semi final game. Both dislocated their elbow on the last play of the first half. One was our qb/fs and the other was our te/ss. We had to hold on to win the semi final and had to get guys ready to play the next week in the championship.

My votes for Titletown USA.

Between high school and University championships last 20 years. Pretty impressive for Maryville.

Made it down to the low 40s. Webb City I assume? Hardly small town.
It's a matter of perspective. Some people think small town is a town is a tiny town of 1000 people and one 4-way stop. Most of my friends from KC think Webb City and Carthage (which is about 50% larger) are small towns. At one time WC was a small town, but now I'd describe it more as a typical suburban bedroom community. Either way it's a quintessential football town.

Gee. A lot of teachers started work today. What a coincidence that Bosko shows up also. I was sure his fat arse would have been eliminated by the Rona by now.
Excuse me!? Ive been pretty vocal about my annual summer hiatus and subsequent check-in! And youre one to talk about getting eliminated by the 'rona. From what I've gathered, you're no spring chicken and are part of the risk group! Now dont cross me!!

Recovered good from the Corona, have ya?

......Any list that fails to include the "small" town of Wardsville is worthless... A-Z top notch in all sports..

That's a suburban area...heck I couldn't even tell when I left Joplin and drove into Webb, except you see a lot of houses that need to be painted. Small town = 5,000 or less. Maryville would be the answer for Mizzoura

If 5000 or less your definition of small town Maryville out. Population 11,687. Almost same size as Webb City 11,847.

Yes just like how Cameron can count some of that prison population. Cost Cameron a Applebee's and other businesses when they found out not full population.

Um...over 7,000 of that pop are students at NW Missouri St... So it is under 5k

Actual thats not true. Very few Kids that live on campus count. Only students that count off campus are ones that have changed residency to Maryville. Usually only out of state 3rd-4th year students go to the trouble to change their residency to get that in state tuition rate.

Think total population about 17,000.

Ruin Crown? Never thought of Crown as top shelf.
Well, ruin anything with something sweet. I guess all of the MD 2020 and spolioli parties on a shoestring college budget left an indelible impression on my taste buds. Nothing sweet for me, ever again.
