As always, the Bell Game between Marceline and Brookfield is usually always a good one.
You know I think it will be too. Carthage is heavily favored and I do think this game is in their favor BUT I am not at all overlooking CJ. It's their first home game - probably a good crowd on hand. Carthage is only 15 minutes down hwy96 so they will bring a lot of fans too. I probably won't make it tonight but I enjoy the setup over there, usually a good atmosphere.
Carthage's O will be very hard to stop. In my mind the factors that CJ will need to capitalize on---
They can expect decent field possession when receiving kickoffs. Score fast so Carthage offense wears out.
Don't let turnovers go to waste. Carthage had 4 turnovers last week but that only translated into 1 score for ozark.
Run some unexpected or trick plays and hope Carthage D is still a bit soft.
I don't really like the guy a lot but Buck can beat very good teams when he has the right players who can do what he wants.
Thats always THE game of the season Mox, but that is not until later in the season.
Joplin @ Nixa will be an interesting matchup.

I’m going to be interested to see the outcome of the Kickapoo/Lebanon game. The OC is going to be top-heavy per the usual and they should tell us who the favorite for the number two and number three spots are. Not that I’m counting out Bolivar, but they are going to need more than an 8 point win over Rolla To convince me that they aren’t going to be middle of the pack.
I agree with Arcola. It will be interesting to see how Mountain Grove plays this week after surprising me against Fairgrove last week. And to see how liberty fairs against fair grove as well. I know Fair grove is down from last year, but last Year was the worst Mountain Grove team and perhaps the last 50 years or at least in the last 20 to 30. And they started the year off with a somewhat surprising win.

Would watch it, but Mississippi overall #1 (West Point) vs Mississippi overall #2 (Starkville) is too good a match-up to miss.
