And yet you bring them up. Good stuff.Well at least Notre Dame has a history.
And to Cowherd - Yes, I do realize this thread has nothing to do with Mizzou - the title of the thread made it obvious.

As far as rankings for since 2000 they are all going to be somewhat arbitrary. Sporting news had an article last July of the top 15 programs since 2000 and it's top 5 was:
1. Ohio St
2. USC
3. Bama
4. OU
5. Florida St
My rankings since 2000 would be more like:
1. Bama
2. Ohio St
3. Florida
4. Oklahoma
5. Florida St
6. USC
7. LSU
8. Texas...though moving down list lately
9. Miami ...based mostly by 2000-2005
10. Auburn
Can you please be a bigger hypocrite? Maybe whine a bit more? Can you please tell us more about the crowning achievement of your life? Is it being invited to Area Code or going to the LLWS?

He forgets about telling everyone about how he went to Mizzou, about daddy's job, that he studied nuclear engineeringKind of a sour puss today aren't we?

I'm not sure a conference championship is a valid indicator. Sure it's nice but the conferences aren't at all comparable.
Bama is a clear top with 4 NCs. The following schools have 2: Florida, LSU, OSU, USC?
Then there's boomer, texas, auburn, fsu and miami. Should likely go in that order IMO
1) bama
2) Florida
3) LSU
4) OSU
5)USC
6) Auburn (Played for a NC recently as well)
7) fSU
8) boomer
9)texas and miami (who is worse)
He has done more by the age 12 then anyone ever has, that is by far the funniest thing I have heard on here yet. Another Card classic was I did not play football cause I was saving it all for high school baseball. Then asking him how college worked out and he said he had to quit cause he blew his arm out. He might have the weakest resume on here and that is why he doesn't compare notes.
Hey card21, what did you do on Friday Nights in Webb City?
Card21 response "I was the kid in the stands holding up the huge cardboard cut out of the good players face!"
Auburn is probably 9-10 range, with Texas. Not consistent
OU and LSU haven't won multiple championships in that time frame, but they have consistently held their own in the rankings....which was the basis of the rankings in the list Sooner posted
Ahhhh....I completely missed your post on that title. I would put LSU,Florida,OU anywhere from 3-6, interchangeably. An argument can be made for any of them,if you wantedLSU did win 2 championships. I shorted them they one they won with Miles. That elevates them into top 5.
I think you almost have to have a title in that timeframe to be in the top 10 so I think it makes Texas and Miami 9-10.
The more spirited debate would be after you get though the 10 programs that can at least claim a share of a title during that time who do you put at 11-25 out of the programs that do not have a title. Where do you rank: Oregon,Stanford,Michigan, Wisconsin,Clemson,Penn St,Nebraska,TCU etc?

I'm glad you're keeping tabs on me. Flattering. He forgets about telling everyone about how he went to Mizzou, about daddy's job, that he studied nuclear engineering
Or my personal favorite.....when he wanted to compare resumes with people on here
Forgot to add Clemson..pretty average (at best) until 2012LSU did win 2 championships. I shorted them they one they won with Miles. That elevates them into top 5.

I wish I had been invited to Area Code
I can't put Florida at 2. They've had too many average seasons. (2002-2004, 2010-2011, 2013-2014). LSU has a stronger argument to be #2, but I still don't think they beat out Ohio State.
1. Bama
2. OSU
3. LSU
4. USC
5. Florida
6. OU
How would OU be above FSU?
Both have a NC. OU played for 3 others, 4 if you count the playoff and they also were 3-0 head-to-head vs FSU in that time span including the 2000 championship game.
Have to really research top championship winning team.............1983 Nebraska was without a doubt the best team that didn't win (everyone should check out the crazy ending of that Orange Bowl game vs. Miami-FL that basically announced the Canes to the Nation). And if you want spirited discussion
I enjoy the debate on top individual teams of all time. That's always a good battle
Alabama and Ohio State are the only totally dependable programs out there right now. The rest of CFB is pretty wide open year to year.I wish I had been invited to Area Code
