best and worst visitor's side seating

North Platte home side is on a low sloping hill and near the top you are a looong way from the field. No visitor seating on the west side.

Blair Oaks needs mentioning ITT. Very nice facility, and the overlook on rolling fields is beautiful.

While not the nicest, if nostalgia counts for anything Burlington Field in Brookfield has charm galore. The old school light standards are special. No track, so seating is right behind the benches on both sides. First few rows are blocked viewing however.

Other than that, either the remainder of CCC venues have single side seating or are of limited construction they deserve no mention.

I think it's 1 person doing all of it...the 1 obsessed with "likes". It's unnatural to be that obsessed
I dont think its one person doing it. I know who I am and Ive been here way long than any of my fellow Doc Guys. And jokes on you! We all "like" each others posts. So were all obsessed with likes!

Burlington Field did have a track that was more of a rectangle shape. Took it out when they built the new track behind the High School.
At one time they had fiberglass bleachers that left splinters in bare legs,

North Kansas City--great old stadium. Home or away side.
Excelsior Springs - home side is old KC Chiefs Gold seats...great.
Kearney. Away side is better. The home side is too low of a slope.
Raytown South. Beautiful new stadium. Away side was fine.

Good point on Kearney. Nice looking facility, and recent upgrades were badly needed. But it just wasn't a great design to hold the number of people it needs to. And not a great view, IMO.

The thing I dislike MOST about Kearney games is that they let Middle School and Elementary kids run freaking wild at that place. It's a madhouse.

why so crotchety? let the kids play
If they were to stay in one place it wouldn't be so bad but they don't. They run around the stands, the concession area, etc. Also, if one of these kids gets hurt, the school will get blamed. Its a bad practice, if they want to run around, leave them at home.

kids running around areas where pop corn, candy and soda are being sold? underneath and around big steel entwined bleachers with all sorts of nooks and crannys to hide and jump through? chaos and pandemonium! all sorts of festive fun! say it isn't so!!!

free the Kids!

Sarcoxie.

Visitor side seating is just as nice as the home side. Free admission. You can still stand around the field.

What did MC hammer say? Can't touch this!
