nominate each:

best: one of the best i've ever found is Carrollton. Great visitor's side accommodation -plenty of seating and great game day fan experience. on friday nights though the speakers nearly blast you out of your seats on that side (one negative)

worst: possibly Lexington. first off no parking for anyone, no seating (even before this year)...no facilities. The new track they are getting should help things hopefully.

Best: Platte County has all Individual seats (old Royals baseball stadium seats)

Worst: Some old 8 man fields. During the week they down at the softball field. On Friday janitor hooks log chain to them and drags to football behind a pickup or tractor.

PC sets both teams on one side, I don't like that.
Lawson has a real nice visitors side, park and walk right to the visitor side bleachers, visiting coaches have their own press box/coaches area too.

Walnut Heights has the WORST visitor seating!! They barely have any seats and most of the visitors have to stand along the fence! Now the home seating and the rest of the stadium is amazing! They have a lot of money in Walnut Heights. If I had their booster club budget here in Ampipe......look out!

Has WH gotten turf yet? That grass didn't used to hold up well in the rain.

Richmond used to be bad, old 6 row portable bleachers but they improved it a few years ago. Smithville's visitors bleachers seem to set quite a bit farther back from the sideline than normal.
Chillicothe only has bleachers on one side, but we happily share the with everyone :)

Walnut Heights did get turf. I think the infamous goal line fumble game against Ampipe made them realize how bad playing in a rain filled bowl can be. So they did get turf. Sadly, Ampipe still has a mud put in the middle of the field at the 50 yard line.

Thats ok. Mud is where the game is suppose to be played!

Always hated going to Mt View when Lamar kept meeting them in the playoffs. Felt like Lamar would bring 1500 people and there would be 3 or 4 6-row wooden park bleachers on the visitors side.

Traveling so deep is a blessing, but also makes seating difficult at times. Even with playing larger schools the majority of the conference schedule seating always seems to be a struggle.

Odessa used to have the worst visitors side in the MRVC West. Portable aluminum stands just off the track that sat a half a foot below the track. You had to be at the very top to see over the players on the sideline.

My hometown, Plattsburg, is pretty bad on Home and Visitors side. No improvements to the game facilities in 35 years.
Best- there are a lot of good ones, especially KC Suburban Conference. Blue Springs comes to mind. Tough to compare small schools to stadiums of that size. Lawson is a nice small school facility, so are Excelsior Springs and Chillicothe. In general, Webb City is one of my favorite places to watch a game from the stands.

I'd say the stadiums warrensburg and smith-cotton use would rate pretty high. Low on the totem pole would include orrick, concordia, crest ridge, Appleton city...

The visitors side at Lawson used to be the home side. When they added the bleachers on the west side along with bathrooms and concessions, they kept all the stuff on the east.

My vote for best visiting venue is North Kansas City (not that palace behind Staley either); easy off-interstate access, and the setting is like a downtown ballpark venue.

Visitors bleachers are about 10 yards off the field, no track and the game is right in front of you. NKC is as close to the action as you can get.

At first I was like yeah ok....now i have to ignore people on here for the first time in 16 years.....
It's poor form to hijack a forum of any kind with off-topic posts, for comedic purposes or otherwise. We've all done it, but not habitually. It's a shame that threads that have thoughtful, interesting, substantive discussion have to continually be marred by something that 3 people think is funny.

Most of the time, we contribute to the conversation by relating the current topic back to our glory days. Do we get carried away sometimes? Sure! Who doesnt!?

The Mox and the rest of the Doc Guys do not take over anything!! We simply add our 2 sence (sometime 3cents) into the conversation. The Mox is confused to why people are upset?

Really haven't been to a ton of stadiums but a few that come to mind -

I remember some incredibly bad homemade bleachers that were awkwardly tall and mis proportioned. Pretty sure it was at McDonald Co. Also remember going to a playoff game at Ozark back in the 90s and it was one of those stadiums without a designated vistor side. That was absolutely terrible.

Branson has a nice visitor side with it's own concession and restroom. Also a separate entrance. Branson is just pretty nice in general and always comes up in discussion of nice stadiums.
