In another rarity in football playoffs, St Joseph LeBlond is 0-9 with a lot of lopsided losses. However, they will still be HOSTING their first playoff game tonight due to strength of schedule. They are Class 1 and played mostly Class 3 and 4 schools in the Midland empire Conference.
Anyone remember other winless schools that still got to host a play off game under the current format?

The MEC was way down this year too. On the flip side, 7-2 Class 1 East Buch loses 2 games to 2 Class 2 ranked teams (Lawson & Lathrop) and gets 2 seed behind 3 loss Wellington who lost to a class 3 charter school.

Does Leblond stand a chance in the game?

without out doubt. They can win this district.I'm not sure any C1 has ever played a schedule as though as they have this year. Maryville, Savannah & lafayette.

QB is very good, personally think he was the best QB in the MEC this year.

props to those kids for sticking with it, there was talk they were not going to field a team because of numbers. gained a lot of respect for them and the coaching staff.

Throwing 18 passes is pass-happy? Heck, Princeton threw it 67 times last Friday.

Didn’t LeBlond lose by 2 touchdowns to a 2 win Putnam County team at start of season?

Leblond needs to go to KCI or independent for football. They can still hold their own in the other sports in MEC.

I agree but I guess it wasn’t in the Cards this time

KCI probably wouldn't want LeBlond for football only. Might not want LB period, since KCI hosts conference tournament in several sports and a 9-team conference really mucks up brackets.

They would have to let Lawson go if they do that. Lawson is getting too big for the KCI, but don’t see that change coming in the near future

Oh, I know that. I just think Trenton's a better fit for the KCI than it is in the GRC.

Distance wise, no. School wise, yes. As a West Platte grad I say no to them. Hamilton was a stretch.

Lawson could compete in the middle of MEC in football. But all other sports they would have a hard time. IMO

They are the largest school in the conference, but geographically, they are right in the middle of GRC East. They would have huge travel in KCI. Would not make any sense.
