More on defense,,,,I stopped counting how many TD passes they gave up
Webbs offense looked great when they ran split back . Kinda of a dumpster fire in shotgun which was about 40-50% of the snaps . Defense defended the run okay ....the pass not so much . It's hard to impossible to take anything away from a jamboree. I saw no Webb injuries so that's good . Gallardo didn't suit up neither did Degraffenreid whom I assume is their #1 wr

I've only been saying that for the last 11 months now. Losing their all-world OT hurts (he went to Oklahoma), but having no clear decision at QB will really doom them. When WC commits to a single QB, they usually win state. When they go with a QB-by-committee, like they appear to be doing this year (according to Ozarks), their offense is inefficient. Joplin will tear them a new one, and my Bulldogs will give them everything they can handle. And yes - stamp that.
No. The other was transferring here and then didnt. Shotgun is a work in progress which is why they ran it so much. 2 starters out with little dingy injuries and would play in a game. Starters barely played at all so cant judge anything on that. Shull wasnt an all world tackle...just a big guy. New defense that will stop the pass once worked out. It'll be ok sally.
Joplin looked pretty good on defense. I think Seneca scored 1 TD on them, Joplin stopped Lamar on the goal line, I don't believe Lamar ever scored on the Eagles.
Nice...usually lamar scores a couple tds on a Joplin defense in these exhibitions
WC needs to find some corners! Johnson should be their qb!

Webb scored on a broken tackle otherwise Lamar threw all over Webb’s 1s, and stopped the offense. But it is jamboree time lol 😂
Still nice to see football back, and 1s vs 1s. I’m sure all teams and kids playing are excited to hit someone else rather than their teammates.

Will Seneca-Lamar match last year's regular season donnybrook or will Lamar dominate like the playoff game?
Eh, not sure. I won’t doubt Seneca’s possible improvements from last year as well. Our defense was my thing to watch with the seniors who left last year. After watching 5-6 passes all be really well defended by the replacements? I’m less worried now. Webb and Joplin are great tests for that.
I think Seneca is a wonderful hard nosed program. It about 60/40 great game for me, instead of blowout. I do think imo unless an unforeseen situation or injuries happen in class 2? These are the two best teams in it. (Like a team moves down that also is loaded from the announcements next week)
