Now I'm not calling for the coach to be fired...but the Jeff City D coordinator should have his resume polished and ready... your defense has given up 117 points in the last 2 games, and 324 points thru 8 games. Yes, DeSmet is really good, but Battle and Rock Bridge are not. Yet your guys gave up 54 and 41points to them.
My greatest concern is that this team is regressing as the season goes on. We all know LePage left the program in a mess 2 years ago (3-7 with a lot more talent than they have now), but there has been no improvement last year or this year - statistically speaking, this is the worst its ever been.

Seriously LePage isn't there anymore, quit blaming him for the shit show going on there right now. You talk about talent, you do realize how bad the senior class was his last year there. Sure there was some talent in the junior class, but not as much as you think. That junior class had literally zero varsity experience coming into that season. Any person who knows anything about football knows that's not a recipe for success, especially at the class 6 level. You can't have a bad senior class and a little above average junior class and expect to win a lot of games.
Now I'm not going to sit here and criticize the current coaching staff, there's plenty I could say but won't. I will say they do have more talent than you say they do. Their biggest mistake is them walking into Jeff City and thinking they were just going to automatically win with ease. At the end of the day though, stop blaming LePage, it's not his name on the program anymore.
Oh and yeah, not sure who you are, but you need to take your expert advice and apply to be the next head coach. Or at least defensive coordinator. I would love the opportunity to pick apart every little thing you do, and then air my displeasure on this message board every week.

A proven winner? What, exactly, did he win at the Class 6 level with several D1 talent players?
What D1 talent? From 2010-2017 there were only two kids who went D-1A football, and 5 who went D-1AA. That's nothing for a class 6 school. There are a handful of class 6 schools that have that talent every year.

I love how people like you, when presented the truth, will fall back on the statement “if you can do it better then go do it”.
I am not a coach, but then again I’m not PAID to be a coach. Let the person who is hired and paid to do the job do it right, or find another job. Any coach who can’t take criticism when it is due should get the hell out of coaching.
As for LePage, as I said earlier, he is a fine small school coach. Nothing wrong with that. But face the fact: he could not handle a big class 6 program despite good talent most years and great facilities, equipment, funding, and good fan support. Now that’s not the reason they’re not winning today, but it helps explain why the program as a whole is in the worst shape it’s been in 60 plus years.

You're going to flap your mouth no matter what. So I'll just leave it at this, LePage is a winner, he has the record and the championships that back it up. Those that know him and know football say the exact same thing. Hell Andy Reid, Dirk Koetter, Barry Odom, Gary Pinkel, John Roderique, just to name a few all think that, and that's just scratching the service. You think what you want and I'll think what I want, and we'll just move on.

Who is the d coordinater
Glenn Lemmon is technically the "D Coordinator", and he technically "calls" the defense. But in defending Coach Lemmon, everything they do defensively: drill wise, scheme wise, personnel wise, you name it. It's all decided by Coach Walker, Coach Lemmon just does what Coach Walker tells him to do. Basically to sum it up, Coach Lemmon is just the sacrificial lamb.

Lepage was on staff when Jays won a couple state titles in 90’s. Semi finalist 2x as head coach. Proven he can coach at class 6 level. I’m pretty sure he got more out of his kids than anyone else could have and won more games with less talent with a brutal schedule. The new regime I’m sure is coaching as hard as they can but just don’t have the horses. You have all the answers let’s hear what they should be doing differently?

As I said I’m not calling for any firings but what they are doing is not working. We’re not seeing any changes or improvements. The fans are speaking by staying away. Homecoming crowd was smaller than the crowds at the Capital City JV games.
