You could, but they would have ran 25 seconds off the clock. It’s a judgement call. They don’t the FG kickers range so… who knows.

Mville 9 penalties for 85 yards cost them the game imo.

well i was just talking to Mullet about that. Their schedule cost them . Part of your job is to teach your kids how to deal with adversity. Springfield Central ain't getting it done.
Also, did their QB carry the ball in the 2nd half? He was killing adrian in the first. I was scared to death they'd go empty set and just let him go. Great player. Coaches kid and you can tell.
Their schedule actually stepped up. AG, Pierce City, Stockton, even Sarcoxie and Miller were tough outs this year.

Comets lose everybody but the QB and Pomeroy. They should enter the portal.
They didn’t play a great game, but they played better than Marionville and that was enough. It was a very physical game. I’m just hoping Adrian walks away without any nagging injuries.
Would've been the third Personal Foul on that player if they'd have called it. Oh well
