That is a good question. I think Oklahoma would be best for him either way unless a conference change happens. High powered offense in the current land of no defense. Perfect for a big play wide receiver. Don't be shocked if you see early graduation/early college enrollment. E St. Louis has been huge on doing that to their power 5 athletes the past 3 or so years
Will be interesting to see where he ends up... a lot of competition at OU and two 5*s already committed for next year.... You have to like MIZZOUs chance and landing him... It would be a huge get. If they can keep him away from UGA it would be big
He’s gone. I give it at best a 1-20 percent chance he ends up at MIZZOU. Why would he go to MIZZOU? That’s what you ask yourself. He’s a pretty well liked guy. Why MU? That’s what’s going to go through his mind.
Why? The uniforms? There’s about 10 other schools including ones with similar records to MU in the SEC he can go to, to get the same NFL looks and chances to compete in the SEC. That’s literally all MU can offer. “We are in the SEC” He just may make the wrong choice and still go to MU. But my money says someone comes along and tells him not to. Drink is a bust, and that class coming up next year is a lot of local kids. Which is “cool” but it’s not promised to be much. I guess they are counting on that as well to intise him to still go to MU.
Im truly curious. Both us truly don’t know. But I’m more baffled by a positive mindset then a negative. What’s happened this year including the game he went to, that tells you he’s all in?
Luther throws the Alabama hat and Georgia hat on the ground and puts on the Mizzou hat. I had to smile to see that as a Mizzou fan myself.
Why is Drink a bust? Went 5-5 last year in an SEC only schedule when he had one of the worst rosters. I think this year's team should be better than 3-4 but regardless of what happens on the field, if Drink can keep the recruiting class together, that's where it's at for us.
I think Mizzou fans have known for several months that it was trending this way with Burden. Why pick Mizzou? You got Sam Horn coming in, he wanted to stay close to home, he will be the focal point of this class and with his hometown and the school he picked, he will have great NIL opportunities. Lots of reasons. Why did Jeremy Maclin or DGB pick Mizzou?
you dont make a 100 year decision based on the football program playing in the papa johns bowl
college institutions dont switch to better conferences based on just bowl games. many other factors in play..you know this.
perhaps and usually coaches are given 3-5 years to turn things around. odom couldnt keep the momentum going pinkel had established. drink is hoping to field a winning program and it starts with top recruiting classes.
you guys need to follow it like I do 3 hours a day. We have the number 1 receiver number 7 QB no 11 running back number 20 and 22 tackles in the nation in the 2022 class. He said he is coming to Mizzou to change it will he is coming because he believes in drink as do the other 12 4 star recruits he has in the 2021 class and 2022 class. Anybody that follows Mizzou football as close as I do we knew this year was a wash. But we got to 4-star dee ends at Mizzou right now they have been hurt. Will we be Georgia no but who is but we will be very competitive getting Luther is going to start a snowball effect. A big-time recruit in Kansas City was waiting to see what Luther did and now he is coming to Mizzou. We flipped a dee tackle from Nebraska today. Next year we win 7 the 8 or 9 is possible. MIZ ZOU
