Joplin's last 3rd conversion was placed about 2 yards short of the sticks and they still moved em.
Tied at half. Carthage looked pretty good for a quarter but Joplin is playing really good and probably would be leading if not for Galls tackle for a loss on 4th and nothing. Then again Carthage missed a scoring opportunity on an unforced procedural flag and then a fumbled snap, if not for that they could lead. Joplin will start with the ball so it will be a critical possession for Carthage to stop if they want to retake control of this one.
But overall based on what I’ve seen this far I would not be shocked to see Carthage get down by 2-3 scores by the end of this unless they change some things. Offense looked a lot in the second quarter like it did in the second half at Webb city.

Like what? I've only known about the one and he had a broken foot against Webb so I'm sure he's still dealing with that.
