2024 DESE Numbers? Breakdowns of Classes for 2024. Whose got'em?

I have DESE numbers. But unless someone has connects to private schools, it will be with last years numbers
I’ll post each class separately. I broke it down like this class 6 (42), Class 5-2 (56) and class 1 catch all (41). Wellington-Napoleon to 8-man. Christian, Linn, East KC, MMA and University/Kaufmann all seem to have Varsity schedules and/or be in districts

I appreciate your work. With this math Cardinal Ritter and St. Marys would be class 4 based on numbers of 315/310. Im sure Class 5 would love to see that.
I’m sure St.Mary’s numbers will rebound as they drop due to uncertainty with the school.

Once the private schools affected by the factor are moved, it changes the numbers as schools slide up and down to balance the classes. For example along with St. Mary’s and Ritter; Ava, Centralia, Forsyth, Pembroke Hill, St. Michael were all class 3 before the success factor was applied

Thank you. That will bump Ava to class 3, Grandveiw to class 2 and 40 total in Class 1, because that’s how Mshsaa seems to do things
Those are what the schools reported to DESE for 9th thru 11th. The numbers are exactly what will be reported in the spring but a fairly close. The numbers for private schools are from this school year
Reasons like this is why I’m starting to prefer the Texas district system. Football is ruining conferences for other sports which enrollment isn’t near as important as football.
Unless it is Jeff City, they will be adjusted to be in Class 4 again.
My understanding is that when more schools got 11 man, it will increase class 1 up to 46 and if schools go 8 man or drop from varsity it can go as low as 32
What's worse, being in a classification that guarantees you in a Webb City district or being in a classification that guarantees you will never win another state championship?
I would say class 5 is still better. Webb isn't unbeatable anymore for a good Carthage team. Class 6 might mean a district with a really good KC team.
Pretty sure Class 1 is not going to have 41 in it. Will probably be mid 30s again if everything I'm hearing is correct.
Not to worry. 3 largest classes in history are at 8th 9th and 10th. Then it falls off a cliff. Webb will rise another year but will then be bottom of class 5 in pop.
It's obviously the right move so MSHSAA wants no part of it.
As long as the top half of the conference is competitive with them let em stay. That is some good play up points.
They already announced that going forward there will be a cap on Class 1.
I don’t remember exactly but I believe they said Class 1 will fluctuate between 32-38 schools depending on the year.
Someone on here I’m sure knows the specifics.
I didn’t think it was that high but you may be right. I just have a feeling they’re going to keep it on the low side more than the high.
