2024-25 SPS Boys Season

Glendale decided to play zero defense against Webb. It was almost comical the amount of easy baskets Webb got. When Webb had an inbound under the basket it was a guaranteed layup.
Then Webb lost to Fair Grove by 30.

You see what Poo did to Webb? 80-37. And somehow, it wasn’t that close.
Yeah unfortunately not surprised. Webb left starters in the entire game and it never got closer. Webb is really struggling, they have a couple good guards but they are ball dominant and it hurts the offense at times. They got blown out again tonight, another turbo loss. Hopefully they can right the ship against teams not like Poo.

My god. Lebanon is awful. Parkview did that with their best player suspended.

.Neither Dassiah Green or Khasye Highley played against Lebanon. Highley led Parkview against Carthage on Friday with 23.

Parkview had lost 6 of 7 prior to last week.

Under no circumstances is Highley one of their two best players. He’s not even number 3

Yeah saw Webb play Lebanon, I honestly thought they were playing a JV team. Looked more like a class 1 team than a class 6 team.
Talking like webb has a powerhouse bb program. News flash.....never will since 97. Just a winter fill in sport.

What the actual Fvck are you talking about?

Nobody said Webb was a basketball powerhouse — but they are consistently good and have proven being good at football is a terrible excuse for being bad at basketball. Webb has posted ten straight winning seasons and has won ten district championships since 2000.

The opponent that was referenced by another poster that you replied to has posted losing seasons in 13 of the past 16 years, and hasn't won a district championship in 27 years (1998). BTW, that school had an opportunity to hire Webb's current coach in 2011 and has had five coaches (including one interim coach) since.

So is Webb a powerhouse? No. But I think we can all agree it could be worse.

Is it only 10 boys basketball district championships during that time frame? Feels like it could be more ... Was talking history the other day with someone and it was discussed how many times Webb City has ended CJ's season in the district tournament.

Since 1995, CJ's season was ended by Webb 11 times at the district tournament (1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2017, 2021, 2023.

I'd cut off fingers and toes to get ten district titles at Glendale since 2000. We've won THREE since 2000.
